The Dodie Daly Memorial Wreath Sale

Saturday December 2nd, 10:00 am- 2:00- pm at The Congregational Church of Rupert

The wreath Sale is back this year and there is a truly special and locally heartwarming story to its return. The Daly Family in a loving commitment to honor their mother Dodie Daly will be creating beautiful wreaths to be sold as a fundraiser for The Congregational Church and 1786 Rupert meeting house.

For many years Dodie and her husband William donated their time and talents to so many events at the Congregational Church of Rupert including organizing the wreath sale. Dodie, her children and friends from the church poured their hearts and souls into creating wreaths to sell each holiday season. In the last few years of her life the sale was unable to happen, but with the enthusiasm of her family and friends we are delighted to say the wreath sale is back! Although we had to say goodbye to Dodie in March of 2023, there is no doubt she will be smiling down on this event. It will be beautiful to see all the wreaths adorning so many of her friends and neighbor’s houses this holiday season.

Each wreath will be carefully created by family and friends with locally sourced greenery specifically for this sale. These beautiful Balsam wreaths will include special accents of pinecones and sprigs of cedar, Douglas fir, juniper and/or white pine for full and delightfully accented high quality one-of-a-kind wreaths. Wreaths can be pre-ordered with the form below. You can choose a traditional red bow, burgundy bow or choose your bow at pick up or no bow at all. We are offering 2 sizes for pre-sale, A large wreath of about 26 inches in diameter for $45.00 and a small wreath of about 16 inches in diameter for $35.00. A payment of cash or check is expected at pick up on December 2nd between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at The Congregational church of Rupert, 2803 VT-153, Rupert, Vermont.
