Vermont Kid’s with Camera’s at
The 1786 Rupert Meeting House
Vermont Kid’s with Camera’s will be hosted in Summer 2023 at The 1786 Rupert Meeting House in Rupert, VT. This is the home of the oldest continually operating church in the state of Vermont. The Congregational Church of Rupert has been meeting, worshiping and creating a sense of community here for 237 years. Professionals in camera, sound, music creation, editing, lights, costume design, set design, writing, interview techniques, being on camera, fundraising, photography and more will be leading the program. Some of these professionals have direct experience from the film industry in Los Angeles, CA as well as local professionals and members of our local rural communities. This will be a unique format for documenting our unique history and teach and expose youth to a fun and creative experience. Vermont Kids with cameras will allow youth to interview town residents and get their stories of the historic importance of Rupert, VT while also designing a documentary and fashioning a program in which they “star.” We will post updates on the Congregational Church of Rupert Facebook page as details develop.
