Renovation Fund

Your donations are appreciated to keep the historic 1786 Rupert Meetinghouse open to the public, for faith, food, fellowship and so much more!! The traditional model of the town meetinghouse served the community in many ways, and we are determined to remain a vital role in the Rupert Community and beyond. We are continuing to find new ways to be supportive to the people who live, work, worship and visit. We are currently expanding our healthy community initiative with a locally sourced food shelf which has been supported by a CSA membership with Shed Light Farm of West Rupert, we also have additional support and donations coming from farms across our region in both NY and VT that support regenerative agriculture practices so that recipients of our food shelf can be confident the food they receive is safe and healthy.

As we move forward with our kitchen renovations we will be able to provide more food supports, cooking events and traditional community dinners. We are also continually expanding on our community programming events and partnering with our neighbors at The Rupert Historical Society, The RK Kittay Rupert Library, Rupert United Methodist Church, and Rupert Village Trust. With your generosity The 1786 Rupert Meetinghouse will remain a vibrant resource to our community in the spirit and model of a traditional meetinghouse. Thank you.
